Data Deletion

Last updated:

You can delete your Cora data at any time. This page explains exactly what gets deleted and how to request it.

Option 1 — Delete your account in the app

The fastest way, and it removes everything:

Option 2 — Disconnect Instagram only

If you want to keep your Cora account but remove its access to Instagram, disconnect the account in Settings → Instagram. This deletes the stored Instagram access token, profile snapshot, grid posts and media for that account.

You can also revoke access from Instagram's side: Instagram app → Settings → Apps and websites → Cora → Remove. When you do this, Instagram notifies our server automatically and we delete the data we hold for that Instagram account — no further action needed from you.

Option 3 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@apollotechstudio.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my data". We will verify the request and delete your data within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

Your account, email, sign-in identifiers, connected Instagram account(s) and their encrypted access tokens, profile snapshots, grid posts, media, drafts, bookmarks, device push tokens and AI usage records. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Confirmation

When deletion is triggered by removing the app on Instagram, we return a confirmation code and a status URL you can check. For in-app or email requests, we confirm by email once complete.
